Oystein Brenden opened for 5,000 from early position and was called by Damien Wyss from the small blind. Stefan Wiesebrock squeezed his entire stack of 85,000. Brenden came in over the top with a four-bet jam for about 125,000 and Wyss folded.
Stefan Wiesebrock: A Q
Oystein Brenden: 4 4
Wiesebrock already got up after he was drawing very thin after Brenden nailed a set on the 4 7 3 flop. He was drawing dead on the 8 turn but it was Wyss that seemed most upset as he shared to the table that he folded a pair of eights. If that was true, he would have had a better set than Brenden.
Regardless, Wyss wasn’t in the hand and Brenden officially eliminated Wiesebrock after the 3 river completed the board.
