Big Slick Runs into Rockets for Froch

Former British boxer and partypoker ambassador Carl Froch is one of the nicest guys on the partypoker live tour scene. He always takes time to chat with the players and last night was having a blast with karaoke.

Froch was sitting on about 2.5 million at the dinner break. He shared with PokerListings that he was bleeding chips and was down to 1.5 million.

The final hand for Froch was a bit of a cooler. He woke up with big slick on the button and four-bet jammed his stack against the player in the big blind who woke up with aces. No miracle came Froch’s way and his run in the Main Event was over.

Although Froch was unable to find success in the Main Event, he did share he was able to find success recently running deep in $109 and $215 events at partypoker. Hopefully, Froch can make the money and run much deeper than that during the next partypoker Live event he attends.
