Big Slick No Good for Callens

This author always loves a good chat with Ann-Roos Callens but was disappointed to see her just now on the rail. Her husband, Francis Callens is still alive and kicking in the Day 1d flight, so we wish him the best of luck.

Callens shared that she had about 60,000 when the hand began and that she got her stack in with big slick with a king on the flop. Her opponent had fours and unfortunately for Callens her top pair was drawing to two runners with there also being a four on the flop.

No miracle came for Callens and she shared that her Grand Event experience is over with no plans to enter the turbo flight.

Callens did mention that she would likely be back in action tomorrow for one of the side events. Good luck to Ann-Roos tomorrow in whatever she decides to play.
