A player by the nickname “Matze P” from Germany leads the final 29 players in the partypoker Championship (PPC) Czech €330 Main Event heading into the final day at King’s Resort after bagging a massive stack of 19,600,000 in chips.
Also advancing with eight-figure stacks were the start-of-the-day chip leader Arian Kashi (17,525,000), Ralf Stam (16,525,000), David Vesely (15,800,000), Mr. Savu (11,350,000), and Sebastian Lenz (10,475,000).
The final opening flight took place just before the start of Day 2. After late registration closed, it was known that the final field size blossomed to 2,261 entries to generate a huge €644,385 prize pool.
A total of 341 entries advance to Day 2 with at least a €600 min-cash. However, just 339 stacks were in play with Teodor Popovic and Al Hassane Iatarne bagging twice during opening flights and needing to forfeit their shorter stacks.
After 13 blind levels of 40-minutes each, the field was down to just 29 hopefuls, each locking up €1,950 heading into the final day. Tomorrow’s winner will go home with a massive €100,000 top prize, which includes a WSOP Europe Day 1a Main Event ticket valued at €10,350 that will be awarded to the top six players.

Welcome back to the PokerListings coverage of the €500,000 guaranteed partypoker Championship (PPC) Czech €330 Main Event at the biggest poker room in Europe in King’s Resort. The €500,000 guarantee proved to be simply a placeholder with a banner crowd of 2,261 entries generating a tasty €644,385 prize pool.
The action is about to move onto Day 2 with all players already in the money with at least a €600 min-cash locked up. The payouts will move up quickly from there and will be shared as soon as they are made official by the tournament director.
Arian Kashi will likely be the chip leader to start the day after parlaying his initial 100,000 chip stack into a whopping mountain of 2,593,000 in chips. It is possible that someone else will become the chip leader to start the day with the Turbo Day 1h still underway.
Today will feature 40-minute blind levels, instead of the 30-minute levels featured throughout the majority of the live opening flights. Blinds will also be rolled back to Level 16 with blinds at 8,000/16,000 along with a big blind ante of 16,000. Both of these things combined allow players to enjoy a deeper structure than they would otherwise enjoy in other events around the world.
Day 2 is scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m., however, it is possible this could be pushed back slightly depending on how long the turbo opening flight lasts.
