Saturday was a banner day at King’s Resort with the two opening flights of the €500,000 guaranteed partypoker Championship (PPC) Czech €330 Main Event drawing huge numbers.
Signs were good with the early Day 1f flight attracting 416 entries, by far the biggest opening flight at the time. A total of 64 players were scheduled to bag chips. However, two players busted on the bubble leaving just 63 players with Arian Kashi not only bagging the biggest stack with 2,593,000 in chips but also the overall chip lead.
Things got even bigger for the later Day 1g flight with 465 entrants getting into the action. A total of 70 players survived with Jakub Oliva coming out on top with 2,052,000 in chips after more than 10 hours of play.

Yfiem Spivack: A K

Bartlomiej Muzacz jammed for 47,200 into a pot of 55,000 with the A 4 A 8 2 on the board. Raul Sav paused for a few moments before he called. Muzacz turned over 8 8 for a full house and Sav wanted to muck his hand. The dealer informed Sav that since it was an all-in situation, he had to show his cards. Sav turned over Q Q and the dealer awarded Muzacz the pot to double his stack.
Despite losing the hand, Sav still had one of the bigger stacks in the room.
“I didn’t bluff, sorry,” said Muzacz to Sav after the hand ended.
Raul Sav – 300,000
Bartlomiej Muzacz – 160,000
The Day 1f flight, which began at 11 a.m., has just completed with 25 minutes remaining on Level 19 with blinds at 15,000/30,000. Two players went out on the bubble, meaning that just 63 players advanced and not 64 players as scheduled.
PokerListings will post the final chip counts of the 63 players that advanced as soon as it’s available. As has been the case for all of the opening flights, each of the survivors is already guaranteed at least a min-cash of €600.

Thomas Theurer jammed his short stack on the turn with the 7 Q 9 10 on the board and was called by Bartlomiej Klebieko.
Thomas Theurer: J 9
Bartlomiej Klebieko: A K
Both players had a flush draw with Klebieko holding the nut flush draw. However, Theurer was ahead when the chips went in with also his nine pairing up. It wasn’t the flush draw that was completed. Instead, Klebieko headed to Broadway with the J river completing the board and giving him the straight to eliminate Theurer.
Bartlomiej Klebieko – 300,000
Thomas Theurer – 0

Sven Beier, Thorsten Pischl, and Gore all checked the 2 3 9 flop and again on the 4 turn. The 4 paired the board on the river. Both Beier and Pischl checked once again before Gore fired 5,000 into a pot of 25,400. Beier quickly called and Pischl opted to fold.

The PPC Czech Main Event’s €500,000 guarantee has already been met with the prize pool near €520,000 already thanks to the huge turnouts for Day 1f and Day 1g.
Now it is a matter of how big the prize pool will grow to with still plenty of time for players to late register for Day 1g and another opening flight taking place tomorrow morning with Day 1h kicking off on Sunday at 11 a.m. just before Day 2 begins later in the day at 4:30 p.m.
Included in the prize pool is six WSOP Europe Main Event seats valued at €10,350 each. This should provide an interesting dynamic for the final table with a bubble of sorts taking place between sixth and seventh places.

Level 3: 400/800 (800)

Two players checked with the 5 6 A on the flop before Karim Karouia fired out for 5,500 into a pot of nearly double that. Michal Plicka, a player with the nickname “Mimo”, and Damian Kucharski called to bring four players to the 10 turn.
Kucharski bet out for 30,000. Karouia and Plicka folded, while Mimo opted to called. The 4 completed the board on the river and Kucharski jammed more than covering the around 40,000 Mimo had behind.
Mimo made the call and attempted to muck his hand after Kucharski turned over A 10 for top two pair. Mimo was behind the entire way with A 9 . He immediately re-entered and was seated at a new table after losing his first Day 1g bullet.
Damian Kucharski – 275,000

Walter Matura became the first player to hit the rail on Day 1g near the beginning of Level 2.

Walter Matura: Q Q
Compari: A A
Matura was far behind and neither the K turn nor the K river helped. Compari chipped up to about double a starting stack, while Matura will need to re-enter if he wishes to advance out of the Day 1g flight.

Welcome back to the PokerListings coverage of the €500,000 guaranteed partypoker Championship (PPC) Czech €330 Main Event at the biggest poker room in Europe in King’s Resort.
Today features two more live opening flights with Day 1f already underway with an 11 a.m. start and attracted a banner field of 416 entries with 63 players scheduled to bag chips into tomorrow’s Day 2 with already at least a €600 min-cash secured.
Our coverage will focus on the penultimate live opening flight with Day 1g beginning at 6 p.m. As has been the case with the other opening flights, players will start with a 200 big blind stack of 100,000 chips with blinds increasing every 30 minutes. Players can re-enter up to two times on Day 1g during the 10-level, late-registration window.
All of the opening flights play down to 15% of the field. Based on previous live opening flights, it is likely that we will witness approximately 18 levels of play today. Day 2, however, will be rolled back to Level 16 with blinds at 8,000/16,000 with a big blind ante of 20,000.
Those that fail to find a bag, will have one more opportunity tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. with the turbo-charged Day 1h, which is expected to conclude just before the start of Day 2.
Thus far, the winner of the PPC Czech €150 Opener Farid Taazist is in the lead after bagging 2,290,000 during yesterday’s Day 1d.

Hand-for-hand play never happened after “Das Momentum” ran out of momentum and chips to leave just 44 players remaining.

Lucas Curot: 10 10

The field has already grown beyond 200 players. One player that will need to re-enter to be back part of this growing field is Thomas Haider if he so chooses to do so after losing a coin-flip to Jeremy Puempel.
Haider called off his stack of around 25,000 with J J and was up against the A K held by Puempel. Haider was safe after the 7 Q 8 flop but the 2 turn added a flush draw to Puempel’s possible outs. Haider was already out of his seat ready for the bad news before the 9 river completed Puempel’s flush and was unable to survive with his initial Day 1e bullet until the first break.

Proca was in the tank for a couple of minutes before he opted to fold. He decided to show that Lalinovci was correct and turned over K K to the table. Lalinovci didn’t show but did say he had queen-high as the next hand was being dealt. Proca didn’t buy it and we will never know if it was a value-bet or a bluff. What we do know, is that Lalinovci was able to read Proca’s mind, at least for that hand.
