How Dan Cates Describes a Core of The Jungleverse

Dan Cates sees his community as a movement that helps people to reach financial freedom but also — unlock their true potential.

In his welcome letter Dan describes the reason to create The Jungleverse in these words:

“Inspired by my own McDonald’s to Millionaire journey, this community is built on the idea that poker isn’t just a game. It’s a way to reclaim your life, break free from the chains of limiting beliefs, and take control of your future. You’re here because you know there’s more out there, and we’re here to guide you.”

On the GTO Lab podcast hosted by Jonathan Jaffe, Dan added details to this description in a long monologue, stating:

“Money by itself is never going to solve the problems but rather to create the continuous habits of the people in order to get them to continuously solve problems in the right direction is where I’m aiming. This is tough but it’s possible and the only way to do that is through your own actions, creating the systems that create actions such as creating games, seminars, things like that through the media.

Now we’ve got the community called The Jungleverse that focuses on the technical aspects but also on what are the things that we can do that make our lives suck less besides battle it out.

It’s those two major differences and I personally want to create a few more systems that help people on the whole with their life goals and eventually take them to success in poker and also help them invest the money properly and do something smart with it.”

It’s interesting that one of the non-poker goals for Dan is to feed as many people as possible through poker. And you can’t see something similar in any other poker-related communities (except some charities like REG).
