After the first episode aired, executive producer and lead series writer, Miikka “Chuck Bass” Anttonen said this was intentional to attract a broad Finnish audience. The main goal of the series was to showcase that poker can be a professional career.
It was also meant to focus on the poker boom in Scandinavia. Over the past 20 years, many players from Scandinavian countries have emerged at the top of online poker: Lodden, LarsLuzak, Antonius, Kyllönen, Ziigmund, Isildur, Fiilismies, EEE27, btnclicker, and many others.
