Reason #1: WPT Global Provides Equal Chances for Recreational Players With “Fair Play”

Here’s how it works.

For those who don’t know, Fair Play is an AI-based program that analyzes the first 300-500 hands played by a user. Then, the AI compares the gathered data with the results of the room’s top players and assigns a label to the player: professional (PRO) or recreational (Non-PRO).

As of this article, Fair Play can identify professional players with up to 90% accuracy. The label is not permanent, as the system continues to monitor and analyze players over time.

Recreational players get full access to the lobby and can continue playing as they did after registration.

PRO players face certain restrictions:

• The system limits the number of seats available to PRO players at cash tables for each limit. PRO players see fewer tables in the lobby — they can only join tables where a seat is available for a PRO player (recreational players can sit at any table).

On the other hand, HUD (Heads-Up Displays) functions as a second set of eyes for a professional player. Using the data collected, a poker pro can make decisions without even looking at their cards, simply because they know in which situations an opponent is likely to fold or overplay their hand.

At WPT Global, players are not allowed to use HUDs during gameplay. However, they do have access to hand imports for reviewing their mistakes outside of the table.
