WPT Global is a relatively new online poker site. It was launched in April 2022. It is on of the fastest-growing online poker room. As of August 2024, WPT Global ranks second in cash game traffic volume in online poker industry (according to GameIntel).
WPT Global is one of the best rooms for beginners and recreational players. Third-party software is prohibited, and multi-tabling in cash games is limited to two tables. There is no direct rakeback. These conditions discourage professional grinders from playing and attract recreational players. WPT Global Rakeback
The room offers a “Poker Rewards Program” promotion for cash game players. The first two players who take a seat at an empty cash table receive 20% cashback for the entire session at that table (40% cashback until September 30th for starting “High” table: from NL$25/50/100; NL¥100/200/400 (NL $12/28/56); PL$25/50, А¥200 (A$28) and higher).

WPT Global Rake
The cap at NLHE and PLO cash game tables is 4%. At CNY (Chinese Yuan or Renminbi) cash game tables the cap increases to 5% at NL50/100 ($7/14) and NL100/200 ($14/28).

Rewards Program
There is no WPT Global loyalty system. But the room differentiates players into professionals and amateurs.
WPT Global makes the FairGame AI-based system. The system collects data on a player based on the first 300-500 hands played at one limit and evaluates his strategy patterns. The system then compares the results with a database of the best players at the limit. Based on this comparison, the player is assigned the status of PRO (highly skilled, professional poker players) or Non-Pro (recreational players, amateurs).
For Non-Pro players, the lobby remains the same as usual. Pro players are limited in the number of tables they can occupy. They also cannot see tables at which the PRO player limit has been reached (even if not all seats are occupied). PRO players cannot create new tables themselves.
Poker Games and Traffic
WPT Global has traffic in NLHE cash, 4-card and 5-card PLO (including fast fold, which is called Pace), 6+ Short Deck. There is also good traffic in Global Spins (Spin&Go) and, of course, in MTT with buy-ins from freerolls to $3,200.
Cash Games
Most of the WPT Global cash games are played at CNY tables ($1 = 7 CNY): because WPT Global has a large traffic base of Asian players. The game currency can be converted at the table.
