WPT Global Announces Fall Festival With $8.5M in Prizes and New Features

Mystery Bounty Tournaments Now Available

The new Mystery Bounty format is now live on WPT Global.

This exciting tournament style is still a very popular concept in the world of poker. Instead of taking a visible bounty for whoever you knock out of the tournament, it will be the Mystery Chests where it’s all about. They usually will kick in once players have reached ITM.

For example, WPT Global recently switched its $55 Lucky PKO $30,000 GTD tournament to the Mystery Bounty format and saw a record-breaking 771 entries! Players love the suspense this new format offers.

To make the final moments of these tournaments even more exciting, WPT Global has added new animations and a special theme for final tables.

Cash Game Updates

For cash game players, WPT Global has also introduced a new rule. If you leave a cash game and want to come back within 30 minutes, you’ll have to buy back in with the same amount you left with. This change applies to No-Limit Hold’em (NLHE) and Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) games.

The $8.5M Fall Festival: September 8^th – September 30^th

Mark your calendars! The Fall Festival runs from September 8^th to September 30^th and features more than $8.5 million in guaranteed prize pools. This is WPT Global’s biggest event yet, even larger than the Summer Festival, which just saw its conclusion last month.

Here’s what to look forward to:

• Mystery Bounty Tournaments: These will be a major part of the series, with $3 million in total guarantees. A new daily tournament with a $110 buy-in and a $40,000 guarantee is also on the schedule.
• Slam Events: Popular events like the $55 Lucky $30K and $110 Nightly $27.5K Slams have now switched to the Mystery Bounty format.
• Big Tournaments: The WPT Championship ($3,500 buy-in, $1M GTD), WPT Prime ($1,060 buy-in, $750K GTD), and WPT500 ($530 buy-in, $400K GTD) are back, offering players a chance to win huge prizes.
• $50K Freeroll: As an added bonus, there will be a $50,000 freeroll for Fall Festival participants.
