PokerStars MicroMillions Back This July

At this point, PokerStars has more promotions under its belt than we can count. Still, as we know, some promotions are more important, or at least more famous than others. One of those A-listers just happens to be the topic of this article.

If you’ve had your ear to the poker ground, you already know we’re talking about the most prestigious low-stakes tournament series in online poker – the PokerStars MicroMillions.

So, let’s see what it has in stored this time around!

MicroMillions Back in 2024 – Everything to Know

The MicroMillions will be back on PokerStars from July 7th to July 21st. That’s right, the low-stakes tournament series begins today.

With this edition, we’re looking at a total of 208 affordable events and $4 million in guaranteed prize pools.

As this is, after all, a low-stakes series, the buy-ins will be going from $1.10 to a still affordable $55. With that said, don’t let the low stakes full you, there’s a lot to play and even more to win during the MicroMillions series. Out of the 200+ events on the roster, the smallest guaranteed prize pool starts at an impressive $1,500 – and the Main Event?

MicroMillions Main Event

Last year, PokerStars opted for the progressive knockout format for its Main Event. In 2024, nothing much has changed. After all, when something isn’t broken (and attracts 27,863 entries), don’t fix it.

This year, the MicroMillions Main Event is a $22 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Progressive Knockout tournament with $500,000 guaranteed. Even though it’s a series highlight, the event is a one day affair, kicking off and finishing on July 21st.

Late registration open for three hours and five minutes, with re-entries available up to five times for players who manage to tackle their 25,000 starting stack during this time.

The Mystery Bounty Debut

Of course, it’s hardly ever just about the Main Event. In this year’s edition, players will also have a chance to sit in on a few High Roller events, including the $55 No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max High Roller with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool. This is also the highest buy-in you will be seeing in this edition.

However, the High Rollers aren’t news but the Mystery Bounty sure is. For the first time ever, the Mystery Bounty format will be an integral part of the MicroMillions, with at least one running each day of the series.

While usually played as NLH, this time players will be able to enjoy variants including six-handed No-Limit Hold’em, Pot-Limit 5-Card PLO, No-Limit Omaha, and more.
